MCA consolidation lenders pay off several merchant cash advances and replace them with one payment. The eight providers below publish at least part of their terms; they range from a bank-network term loan with monthly payments to broker-arranged MCA buyouts and reverse consolidations. Every figure comes from the provider's own page, checked on 2026-10-23 — anything a provider doesn't publish is marked "Not disclosed".
The short answer
- 01Published credit minimums run from 500 to 640 (all three bureaus).
- 02Only some providers say they wire payoffs directly to your old funders.
- 03Reverse consolidation keeps the old advances open — it is not a payoff.
- 04Six of the eight are brokers, marketplaces, or don't state their role — ask who actually funds.
What we found in the eight provider pages
We recorded the same seven fields on every provider's own page. The pattern matters more than any single lender: most of this market does not publish what a borrower needs to compare it.
- 1 of 8
- Publishes all four basics
- 5 of 8
- Publish a minimum credit score
- 6 of 8
- Are not direct lenders
- 4 of 8
- Publish any term length
Amount, term, minimum credit and minimum revenue. One provider, Clarify Capital.
The published floor runs from 500 to 640 on all three bureaus.
Brokers, marketplaces, or a role the page does not state.
The other four leave duration open until underwriting.
Consolidation vs. reverse consolidation
01 · Consolidation
Old advances are paid off
02 · Reverse consolidation
Old advances keep running

Which consolidation lender fits your situation?
| Your situation | Look at first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Good credit (640+), profitable, 1+ year | Bank-network or conventional term loan | Monthly payments and long terms usually cost the least |
| 2+ stacked MCAs, credit 500–600, strong deposits | MCA buyout via a funder or broker | Underwriting leans on bank statements, not credit |
| Cash flow is the problem, not the balance | Reverse consolidation — with care | Lowers payments now, but adds a contract and total cost |
| Already in default or a confession of judgment filed | Restructuring or settlement, not consolidation | Most consolidation programs exclude active defaults |
| You can't tell who funds the deal | Ask for the funder's name and the contract | Brokers may get paid by the funder, not by you |

Frequently asked questions
What is MCA debt consolidation?
MCA debt consolidation replaces several merchant cash advances with one obligation. A new lender or funder pays off the existing advances — ideally wiring the payoffs directly and getting the old UCC filings terminated — and you make one payment to the new provider. A reverse consolidation is different: the old advances stay open and the new funder sends you weekly deposits to keep paying them.
Is MCA debt consolidation legit?
Consolidation is a legitimate product, but the terms decide whether it helps. Compare the total payback against what you owe now, confirm whether the old advances are actually paid off, and check whether the new obligation is a bank-style loan with monthly payments or another MCA with daily debits.
What credit score do I need for an MCA consolidation loan?
Published minimums in this comparison range from 500 (MCA-style and broker programs) to 640 on all three bureaus (a bank-network term loan). Most MCA-style providers weigh bank deposits and existing advance performance more heavily than credit score.
Can I consolidate MCAs if I am already in default?
It is much harder. Some providers say an active default or a confession of judgment narrows or rules out consolidation. If you are already behind, restructuring with your current funders or a negotiated settlement may be more realistic.
Is reverse consolidation a good idea?
It can ease daily cash pressure, but it adds a new contract on top of the old ones rather than retiring them, and the total amount owed usually rises. Ask for the total payback and the weekly deposit schedule in writing before agreeing.
